The answer to this question is a 'qualified' yes. People have gone from severe multiple outbreaks for years to no outbreaks or even symptoms for over five years. Some, as in the Italian studies described below, have remained outbreak and symptom free for 15 years. The present testing for herpes is based on antibody testing as with the Western Blot Test. This merely signifies that the virus once existed within the body. It would not determine a cure. New tests available soon, based on DNA and not the presence of antibodies, will be able to determine if a person is cured of this disease.

Studies in Milan, Italy

Dr. R. Mattassi at the Santa Corona Hospital in Milan, Italy treated 27 herpes patients (severe multiple outbreaks) with increased oxygenation. They received from only one to a maximum of five injections of oxygen (O2 and O3). All 27 patients were completely healed. Five years later, with no further treatment, 24 of the 27 were still outbreak AND SYMPTOM free. Re-infection was suspected in the other three.

Studies in Havana Cuba

In Cuba, ozone is frequently used to treat disease. At the Center of Medical and Surgical Research in Havana, fifteen adults suffering from herpes zoster were treated daily for fifteen days with a combination of ozonated sunflower oil and intramuscular injections. All patients were completely healed after the treatment with no reoccurrences after a year of follow up testing. The researchers concluded that their study demonstrates the superiority of treating herpes zoster with ozone over traditional therapies.

Ozone Therapy

Dr. Heinz Konrad, at the 1983 Ozone World Congress in Washington, D.C. stated that the earlier the treatment started after initial contact with herpes the faster the recovery. The longer you have the disease the longer the treatment needed. (We have found that not to be the case with everyone. People with ten years of affliction have had all outbreaks stopped quickly. Some are taking longer.)

The Key to Stopping the Virus

Ozone therapy, unfortunately, is illegal in the United States. Our procedure, however, does not utilize ozone and is therefore legal. We use 02 Plus (stabilized liquid oxygen) to increase the oxygen content of the bloodstream. Ozone is a form of oxygen with three atoms to the molecule (O3). Extreme Example of a Cure

Neil Fuller underwent 38 injections of oxygen/ozone in an effort to cure a deadly illness. He tested positive for herpes before the increased oxygenation and tested negative for herpes after. One person who has had ten outbreaks per year for seven years has had all outbreaks immediately stopped. It is extremely effective in stopping outbreaks. What You will Read and Hear

You will read on the Internet that herpes can't be cured. Some of these people don't want a cure. There is money in treating herpes not curing herpes. These products (drugs, herbals, algae's, etc.) must be purchased for a lifetime- some at a considerable cost. Some have some merit, others are worthless. The algae's contain oxygen and are probably the most helpful. Drugs are expensive and have known side effects. Long term side effects may be even worse. Herbal remedies that enhance the immune system are also helpful to some degree. But most agree that none of these remedies stop all outbreaks or even hint at a cure.
